The West's Visit NC

Kim, Sean, and Carter came to visit us at the end of April. It was so much fun to have them here. I felt a little bad because I would get so sick at night, but we made the most our of our days. We did all the stuff that we do when people come visit North Carolina. We took the kids to the Children's Museum, took a trip up to the mountains to Valle Cruisis, and toured the Zoo. The best part about their visit was that they got to be here for Jaynie's baptism. Which made it all the more special for Jaynie. Thanks Kim and Sean for spending your vacation time with us here in NC. We love you.
Kim being such a good mom and playing with the kids at the Children's Museum.

The kids thought this crane was pretty cool. They could actually move it and drop stuff.

This is the back porch of the Mast General Store in Valle Cruisis. We pulled up and the bluegrass band was just packing up their gear. We were so sad. That would have been so much fun for The Wests to watch. We love this store and the kids really like it because they always get to pick out their own soda to sip on porch.
Carter did not want to have his picture taken so he was hiding from me, but I thought this one was pretty cute.
Carter and Eliza on the leaf slide at the zoo. With all the animals to see this awesome playground is still the main attraction for my kids at the zoo.

Riding the shuttle.

Grandma and Grandpa Erickson came at the end of Kim and Sean's visit for the Jaynie's baptism so we saved the zoo for when they arrived. This made it extra fun and thanks grandpa for being the designated shoulder carrier. Each of the younger kids had to have their turn on Grandpa's shoulders. Jaynie and Lillie wanted to as well, but we thought that might be asking a little too much of Grandpa.
